Tour Details

This private day tour is an ideal choice for travelers who don’t have enough time to take a 3 or 4 nights Yangtze River cruise sailing between Chongqing and Yichang. The day tour is departing and ending in Yichang, which includes a half day cruise sailing through the east section of the Xiling Gorge, a lunch with local flavors, and a private tour to the Three Gorges Dam. Est. 09:00 Sail through Gezhouba Dam ship lock;
09:00-11:30 The sightseeing boat will sail through the Xiling Gorge (east section), arriving at Sandouping Pier.
12:00-13:00 Lunch at a local restaurant;
13:00-15:30 Three Gorges Dam tour with your private tour guide.
Est. 15:30 Private Transfer from the Three Gorges Dam to Yichang city center.

The Three Gorge Dam tour includes three parts:

Tanziling Ridge, 185 Viewing Platform, and Interception Memorial Park.

At the top of Tanziling Ridge, travelers could have a panoramic view of the Dam, 5-stage ship locks, ship lift and Yangtze River.
The 185 Platform, which is 185 meters above the sea level, is the nearest place that travelers could enjoy the view of the main structure of the Dam.
The Interception Memorial Park is at the south bank of Yangtze River, which is at the lower reaches of the Dam and tourists can look up to the Three Gorges Dam. In the park, tourists can also see artificial hills made of interception stones and exhibitions of large-scale construction machinery.
